Dr. Stan Fawcett is an award-winning educator and researcher with extensive international teaching experience in English, German, and Spanish. He has developed action-learning programs to bridge the gap between graduate skills and industry expectations, promoting deliberate practice in supply chain education. Dr. Fawcett has published over 200 articles and 17 books, and received 17 best paper awards. His academic influence is reflected in an h-index of 61 and an RG score above 35. A former Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Business Logistics, he also created the innovative MyEducator SCM curriculum. Beyond academia, he has consulted for Fortune 500 firms including Boeing and Walmart. Dr. Fawcett is recognized globally for advancing impactful and practical supply chain research.

Dr. Carl Marcus Wallenburg is a Professor of Supply Chain Management at WHU and serves as the European Editor of the Journal of Business Logistics. He previously held a chaired professorship at the Berlin Institute of Technology and was a visiting scholar at The Ohio State University. His research includes six books, over ten management studies, and more than 100 academic articles. Dr. Wallenburg co-chairs the European Research Seminar on Logistics and SCM and has received multiple honors, including the German Logistics Research Award and several Emerald Outstanding Paper Awards. As an academic leader, he contributes to advancing both scholarly rigor and managerial relevance in logistics and supply chain management.

Dr. Matthias Klumpp serves as Associate Professor for Human-centric Operations Systems at Politecnico di Milano and Professor for Retail and Logistics Management at the University of Bremen. He is actively engaged in research and academic leadership, serving on editorial boards including the Journal of Business Logistics. He is also a Scientific Board member at Fraunhofer IML and the German Logistics Association (BVL). Dr. Klumpp chairs the Logistics Management LM25 conference and plays a leading role in the German academic SCM community “WK Logistik.” His work focuses on retail logistics, human-technology interaction, and sustainable operations systems, bridging innovation and implementation across disciplines.

Dr. Medo Pournader is a Senior Lecturer and Program Director of the Master of Supply Chain Management at the University of Melbourne. Her research explores behavioral operations, sustainability, ethics, and technology adoption in supply chains, with a strong focus on supplier risk and decision-making. She is passionate about diversity and inclusion in academia and business, and founded the +1 Podcast Series to foster dialogue on these topics. Dr. Pournader serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Supply Chain Management and Decision Sciences Journal. Prior to Melbourne, she held roles at Macquarie Business School as MBA Program Coordinator and Lecturer in Management.

Dr. A. Michael Knemeyer is Distinguished Professor of Logistics at the Fisher College of Business of The Ohio State University. He is widely recognized for his work on logistics strategy, collaboration, and the role of trust in supply chains. Dr. Knemeyer serves as Chair of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) Research Strategies Committee and is co-author of the widely used textbooks Contemporary Logistics and Building High Performance Business Relationships. A dedicated educator, he has taught executive programs in North and South America, Europe, and Asia, and received multiple awards for excellence in teaching. Dr. Knemeyer is a frequent speaker at academic conferences and professional forums, committed to bridging academic insight and industry practice.
